I met this guy once.

Did this quick digital painting/caricature today after supper. They're pretty fun to do.
If you haven't figured it out, its a Rembrandt, directly referencing one of his self portrait oil paintings.

something about a title

So ive been a bit busy lately; work, personal life, lazyness. But none the less, I scanned up some older sketchs from the last month or so. Ive Been reading and falling in love with the Conan Comic book series, and i must say im floored by the art work of Cary Nord, not to mention that hes Canadian, at least i read that somewheres. Even if hes not, ill alow him to be mistaken as one.

hope everyones well, happy st Patties!

Shoulders.

Did this one today.

Hes a neat looking guy.

Another quick one.

Ok, for this one i basically used my own face as a reference..... right

Its the Pitt.

Fun

When i see caricatures, i see them mostly of famous people and politicians. So, tonight i tried doing the latter.

Know who he is? If so i win!

Hmm

So ive been checkin out Joe Bluhm's blog and i really love his work, so much that it inspired me to google up the name "Bob" and find a picture of a random dude i've never seen before, and do a caricature of him.

Since ive never done any caricatures from photo before, i took this one kinda mellow and didnt go to crazy with it. I also stopped myself at the sketch stage, didnt want to over work it, and just keep it as a study.

Over all, i think i had a lot of fun with it. Might do up some more some time soon.

cheers!

new sketchs

Tried something a bit different today when doodling from my head.

Enjoy.
